SupaLite take 2023 FIT Show by storm

Preston-based tiled roof specialists SupaLite took the 2023 FIT Show by storm, taking centre stage with the unveiling of the new S2 conservatory roof.

After three years of intensive product development by Garnalex, the team at SupaLite proudly announced the launch of the S2 conservatory roof system to an arena of industry professionals.

Based at the NEC in Birmingham, the SupaLite team presented the highly anticipated conservatory roof as the feature of their stand. Those who joined the team for the reveal also went on to enjoy a pint of SupaLite’s specially brewed beer.

The new S2 conservatory roof follows years of exhaustive product development. With its design inspired by the respected and trusted K2 roof, this new conservatory roof marks an impressive evolution in roofing technology. Complete with a selection of multi-chambered PVC-U or aluminium top caps exclusive to Garnalex roofs, conservatory ventilation is new and improved thanks to the unique flush low-line appearance as well as full automation options.

The aesthetic appeal of the S2 further places the roof ahead of the competition. With its refined aluminium gutter shroud and easy to install internal pelmet system, the S2 can adapt to both the smallest lean-to roof and grandest orangery without compromise.

The incredibly strong ‘box’ eaves beam further allows for wide panoramic doors to be incorporated into conservatory spaces – welcoming in the stunning surrounding scenery and accommodating pitches from as low as 2.5° to a steep 37.5°. Its squared cappings across the entire roof firmly places the S2 design as modern, and consumers are even offered the opportunity to add high-quality finials and cresting for a more traditional finish if they choose.

Wes Clarkson, Sales Director at SupaLite, comments: “The S2 is a fantastic development in conservatory roofing. The glazed extension market is evolving, and the S2 hallmarks a new era for conservatories.

“Revealing it at the FIT show was a no-brainer for us here at SupaLite. Knowing we’d be surrounded by professionals from across the industry gave us the best opportunity to showcase the innovative S2 system, and the response so far has been truly amazing.

“After the successful launch of the S1 roof lantern, the S2 roof was the next exciting step in our 2023 strategy. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our operations team we now have a specialist roof manufacturing plant dedicated to the S1, S2, renowned SupaLite Tiled Roof as well as the ILite Flat Roof Orangery – helping us to maintain our 10-day lead time.”

The launch of the S2 roof was motivated by customer feedback as lots of SupaLite installers have, over the years, requested the solid roof supplier to provide both tiled and glass conservatory roofs. This brand new S2 system is another fantastic addition to SupaLite’s ever-growing portfolio of products, and it ticks every box from an installers and fabricators perspective.

“Launching the S2 means we are able to give our customers a choice for the first time,” adds Wes.

“To keep up with consumer demand they can now offer a range of solutions that are both easy-to-fit and incredibly thermally efficient – it really is too great an opportunity to miss!

“A huge thank you to the FIT show for hosting us for our tenth exhibition and to all those who came to learn about our highly anticipated new product. We’re excited to see where this new chapter in conservatory roofing takes us.”

For anyone who couldn’t attend the 2023 FIT Show, the SupaLite team will be touring the country delivering an informative series of seminars for installers and fabricators which will kickstart in June.
