Window Ware hosts successful Open Day joined by MACO Innovation Tour

Leading independent UK hardware distributor Window Ware welcomed customers and industry colleagues to its Bedford distribution centre recently for an exclusive behind the scenes look at its advanced systems, customer-centric processes, and service driven approach which help create the company’s renowned superior hardware provision.

Visitors had the chance to explore Window Ware’s impressive headquarters and distribution facilities, follow the customer buying journey, meet the team, and speak with the company’s knowledgeable staff about the range of products on offer.

Window Ware was joined for the day by long-standing brand partner MACO. The leading door and window hardware manufacturer had made a special stop in Bedford as part of its European Innovation Tour. Visitors were able to climb on board MACO’s state-of-the-art, custom-built exhibition lorry and experience all its latest innovations, including its ground-breaking fully electronic door locking system INSTINCT.

Window Ware MD Sam Nuckey said: “We really enjoyed hosting our first ever open day, even more so because we were able to share it with our colleagues at MACO. Having the MACO experts literally right on our doorstep, also gave us the perfect opportunity to hold some onsite product training for our own staff too. Continual learning like this is just one of the ways we make sure the knowledge and advice we’re providing our customers is always fresh, thorough, and up to date.”

“Indeed, there were lots of valuable insights to be gained all round and we hope every visitor left with some new wisdoms or observations they can use to benefit their own business back home.”

Sam adds: “The open day wasn’t just about showcasing our extensive facilities or our finely tuned processes; we got to turn the spotlight on our brilliant people too! Our motivated teams make it their personal mission to hit our ambitious service KPIs and ensure we’re delivering the goods for customers. Even when challenges occasionally derail us from our goals, our team go all out to bring service levels back on track.  They’re Window Ware’s greatest asset and we hope visitors got the chance to see that on the day.”
