The Millwood group is thrilled to announce the addition of Doug Carter as the new Senior Commerical Executive for the North east of England, Scotland and Ireland. With decades of experience in the outdoor living space, Doug brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for driving growth to the Milwood team.
Doug has worked in various sales and service roles for over 30 years, predominately in a retail setting. He joined the glazing industry 3 years ago, running his family door and window showroom selling various composite, uPVC and aluminium products, including Milwoods range of products.
This has given him a great understanding of the products and range through selling them to consumers. This proving extremely advantageous when working with new and existing trade partners, as he understands the sector very well. Above all else, the service expectations of Milwood will continue to be met and will no doubt be exceeded with Doug’s service and management experience. He is a great addition to the Milwood team and we look forward to further growth as a company.
Doug’s decision to join Milwood was cemented after a visit to an Open day at Milwood and a discussion with the company’s directors where he discovered a shared passion and drive for success. He was drawn to the company’s ethos to product design which comprises of two essential aspects; uncompromising quality and swift installation, and to the company’s forward-thinking approach and believes that there is a real opportunity to expand the business and advance his career.
