Heritage Trade Frames to fit Yale SensCheck™ as standard

Yale has announced Heritage Trade Frames as an official partner for SensCheck™, the company’s popular range of integrated smart door and window sensors.

Heritage Trade Frames will be fitting SensCheck™ compatible hardware as standard across the company’s Safeguard range. This includes composite doors, PVCu doors, casement windows, flush casement windows and flush French casement windows.

This partnership will enable homeowners to check the status of their doors and windows using their smartphones and devices while providing an outstanding smart advantage for installers.

Paul Culshaw, Managing Director of Heritage Trade Frames, comments: “We are really excited to be fitting SensCheck™ compatible hardware as standard. We’ve already started installer training and showroom fit outs to promote the benefits of this Secured by Design (SBD) ‘Secure Connected Device’ accredited range and have received fantastic feedback”.

The Yale hardware being fitted includes the Shootbolt window lock, Platinum 3 star cylinder, multi-point door locks and the Yale standard window hinge.

With Yale SensCheck™, homeowners are notified via the Yale Home App if their doors are open or closed, locked or unlocked, and whether their windows are in the night vent position. The range is also compatible with leading voice partners Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, enabling homeowners to ask a variety of commands, such as “Alexa, is my front door locked?” and “Alexa, is my bedroom window open?”

Yale SensCheck™ allows installers to offer smart windows and doors within their product range, benefiting from the association with a leading consumer brand. Heritage Trade Frames and its customers will also be able to promote the benefits of Yale’s Lifetime Security Guarantee. This includes up to £3,250 towards repairs or replacements, insurance excess and securing the property, all in the event of a break-in – as well as discounts on the Yale store.

Paul Gravell, Sales Director at Yale, adds: “We are proud to be partnering with Heritage Trade Frames – a long-standing customer of Epwin Window Systems. As one of the largest and most trusted fabricators of PVC, composite doors and aluminium windows and doors, they are  ideally placed to bring our SensCheck™ range to trade installers throughout the North West.”
