Yale expands SensCheck™ compatibility with Mantis 4

Building on the success of the SensCheck™ range, Yale has announced that the Mantis 4 multipoint door lock has been added to the ever-growing list of products which are now compatible with the integrated smart window and door lock sensors.

Alongside Mantis 4, Yale’s Lockmaster 21 door lock and several of its largest-selling window lock ranges, including the Rapide and Yale Shootbolt systems, are all compatible with the Yale SensCheck™ Door and Window Sensor range. The business also has developments in the pipeline for further hardware compatibility later this year.

Paul Atkinson, Managing Director at Yale, comments: “The Mantis 4 is the most advanced multipoint lock in our Mantis range yet. It offers outstanding security, functionality, and aesthetics and we are pleased to announce that it is also now Yale SensCheck™ compatible.”

With Yale SensCheck™, homeowners are notified via the Yale Smart Living Home App if their doors are open or closed, locked or unlocked. The range has been accredited with the BSI kitemark for the Internet of Things (IoT). This provides a guarantee that it has been rigorously tested to ensure that it is safe, secure and functions properly as part of an ecosystem of connected products. It is also compatible with leading voice partners Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Paul adds: “Since its launch, we’ve seen huge interest and demand for Yale SensCheck™ sensors, as window and door fabricators look to add smart features into their offerings and we are ‘onboarding’ customers as fast as we can. There are now showrooms across the country that have been fitted out with Yale SensCheck™ to promote the benefits of this Secured by Design (SBD) ‘Secure Connected Device’ accredited range.”

One of Yale’s partners which has undergone a showroom fit out is Portico Doors, a leading manufacturer of Composite Doors, with a reputation for providing the highest quality of products. Tony Craggs, Managing Director at Portico Doors, comments: “We are proud to supply all our composite doors with Yale SensCheck™ compatibility as standard. Yale’s smart-compatible lock technology is unrivalled in the market.”
