The lock you know and trust, but even better

Lockmaster 21 is the latest innovation to be added to Britain’s best-selling range of multi-point door locking systems from Yale. Launched 21 years after the very first Lockmaster lock was released, this offering boasts the same reliability and features as Lockmaster, but with some great added benefits.

Designed, developed, and tested to deliver the very highest levels of performance, Lockmaster 21 provides PAS 24:2016 security as standard when incorporated as part of a doorset. It also features a new easy-to-use push-in latch/snib feature designed to prevent accidental lock-outs.

Managing Director, Paul Atkinson, comments: “I was among the first to sell from the original samples of Lockmaster at its very beginnings all those years ago and have sold it consistently ever since then.

“Lockmaster 21 delivers all the features that people know and love about the locking system, but with some great added enhancements for both our customers and the end-user. It faultlessly delivers high-performance security, improved ease of use, and impressive service life. Lockmaster is the preferred lock for fabricators and installers, particularly because of its tolerances making it easy to fabricate, install and it just keeps on working with minimal fuss.”

Lockmaster’s signature hook and pin unit have been carefully positioned within 100mm of the pre-compression rollers to offer maximum security. With 35mm and 45mm back set options, the range is suitable for the majority of timber, PVCu, aluminium, and composite door multi-point lock applications in the UK.

Paul adds: “Over the last year or so we have been introducing our longstanding Lockmaster door lock customers over to the Lockmaster 21 and they’ve been really impressed with the innovations that have been made to the range.

“We understand that keeping up to date on the latest security standards can sometimes be confusing, so it is a real benefit to have a product that comes PAS 24:2016 security tested and is Secured by Design approved.”

Made in the Yale factory situated in the West Midlands, UK; LM21 carries the ‘Made in Britain’ marque. Yale Lockmaster 21 provides fabricators and installers with peace of mind as it comes with a 10-year mechanical guarantee, along with a Yale Lifetime Security Guarantee, when used in conjunction with other Yale hardware.

The innovation continues with Yale Smart Prepared, a comprehensive range of products that are currently in an advanced stage of development to make the standard Lockmaster multi-point door lock smart, along with patio, bi-fold, tilt and turn and casement window locks.
