Smart Architectural Aluminium has announced a cut to the lead times of its three most popular colour ranges. Covering more than fifty of the company’s most requested paint finishes, lead times on the Smart Naturals, Sensations and Cotswold colour ranges have all now been reduced from ten days to just five, with immediate effect.
Commenting on the announcement, Smart’s Managing Director, Eddie Robinson said: “We are constantly looking for new ways to enhance our service levels and halving our lead times should provide a real benefit for our customers, enabling them to be even more responsive to the needs of their customers in a very competitive market.
“Our continued investment in new plant and equipment has given us capacity to paint over 800 metres of material every hour, which has enabled us to introduce these much shorter lead times on a wide range of our most popular colours. We now have three state-of-the-art paint lines which combine to deliver a lustrous and durable finish across our entire product portfolio, a finish which is capable of withstanding even the harshest of environments.”
The new shorter lead times apply to all orders for single colour finishes across the three colour ranges and includes both profiles and painted accessories – which can be ordered either to match the profiles or in a different colour to provide a contrast.
