SEH BAC AND RAYNE VILLAGE HALL CELEBRATE SUCCESSFUL COMMUNITY GIVEAWAY RENOVATION

Award-winning home improvement specialists SEH BAC have completed the renovation work at Rayne Village Hall in Braintree, the winning community building from their recent Community Giveaway competition.

SEH BAC helped to transform the village hall by replacing the dilapidated entrance way with a brand-new, commercial specification entrance door system. To mark the completion of the project, a special commemorative plaque was unveiled at the village hall.

“We are absolutely delighted to complete this project and give a new lease of life to the wonderful Rayne Village Hall,” comments Norman Hornigold, Sales and Marketing Director at SEH BAC.

“It’s been a staple of the local community for over four decades and was undoubtedly a worthy winner of our competition. The village hall now has a robust, heavy-duty solution which is suitable for the hundreds of patrons who rely on this fantastic facility throughout the year.

“We’re incredibly proud of what has been achieved and we are really pleased for Rayne Village Hall and the local community in Rayne.”

The extensive use by thousands of residents over its lifetime left the original entrance way in a sorry condition. Matters were made worse with a lack of funding making renovations almost impossible to complete.

The new entrance however will withstand the high levels of traffic and deliver both great thermal efficiency and security thanks to a high-specification locking system. Furthermore, the new door features a low threshold which ensures easy access for disabled users.

Tony Dome from Rayne Village Hall adds: “We wish to pass on our massive thanks to SEH BAC who completed the work after we were awarded one of their prestigious Community Grants for the project.

“We met their Managing Director John Savage along with other members of their staff and found they were all very helpful and professional in the way this Community Project was handled from start to finish.

“With companies like SEH BAC providing charities like ours the support and funding they need, we are able to keep our buildings in good order meaning all users of our community can benefit from our facilities.”

Based in Ipswich and operating across East Anglia, the South East and the Home Counties, SEH BAC specialise in windows, doors and conservatories. The firm, which is part of One Group Construction – a £160 million group of specialist construction companies, recently received the prestigious ‘Consumer Confidence’ award from the National Home Improvement Council (NHIC).
