The glazing industry’s newest awards is set to celebrate and recognise business excellence within it.

At last year’s Glazing Summit, Reynaers Aluminium Ltd’s Director of Technical Services, John McComb, was part of the expert panel that discussed sustainability, recycling and plastic within the industry.

“We were delighted to play a part in the sustainability debate last year and, as it’s a massive ongoing issue across the whole industry, it’s a fitting award for us to sponsor,” said Reynaers Managing Director Richard Hall.

“We feel the Glazing Summit Awards will be a great addition to the Glazing Summit and we’re excited to be involved in its debut.”

Categories also include Employer of the Year; Outstanding Achievement; Customer Experience; Family business of the Year; Start-up business of the Year; Fast-Track business of the Year; and Entrepreneur of the Year.

Andrew Scott, founder of the Glazing Summit Awards, commented: “Reynaers have been huge supporters of the Glazing Summit and I’m delighted they are our first Glazing Summit Awards sponsor. We’re hoping more companies will follow suit.

“The Glazing Summit Awards will be recognised universally as a mark of genuine excellence and showcase the industry to the outside world.”

The Glazing Summit Dinner, featuring a champagne reception and top after-dinner speaker, is set to attract around 250-300 business leaders from the most influential companies in the glass and glazing industry.
