Keylite Roof Windows (Keylite), part of The Keystone Group, has promoted long-standing Area Sales Manager, Lee Squelch to National Account Manager.

Having been with the division for four and a half years, Lee’s product knowledge and relationships both in and outside of the business make him the ideal fit for his new role.

Previously Keylite’s Area Sales Manager covering South Wales, Bristol and Gloucestershire, Lee worked closely with local builders and merchants in his regions.

This year, Lee saw his regional Buildbase branch reach the number one spot in the UK for Keylite sales, while LBS Builders’ Merchants in South and West Wales has seen its turnover increase fourfold during his tenure.

Lee is now looking forward to getting stuck in on a national scale, commenting: “Whether I’m discussing products one-on-one with contractors on site or working with UK-wide procurement teams, it’s important to me to make sure everyone feels supported.

“My progression at Keylite has already been something I’m very proud of. I came in as a ‘rough and ready’ salesperson and really feel like Keylite has invested in me as a person. I’ve had funding for different training programs, been a mentor for many new starters, and it’s important for me to put that investment back into the company.

“This year I began my Chartered Management Institute Level 5 qualification, which is hugely supported and funded by Keylite. It’s quite an intense course but I’m really enjoying it, it helps to reinforce why I do what I do and it’s truly improving the way I work.

“Keylite has built a solid reputation with the nation’s housebuilders and my initial goal in the first twelve months is to keep the momentum going on all the amazing projects and relationships we have developed.

“Progression is really important to me, but I want to progress within Keylite. It’s never boring, as market leaders in innovation and product development there’s always something new coming out for us to be excited about.”

Matthew King, UK Sales Director for Keylite added: “In his four and half years at Keylite, Lee has continued to demonstrate a positive outlook, a desire to both develop himself and others around him and has achieved his commercial objectives thanks to his ability to build strong relationships with his customers and colleagues.”

Keylite will also be recruiting for Lee’s previous Area Sales Manager role to further strengthen the team. To find out more, please visit the Keystone careers page.
