Merge sees Central Window Systems go from strength to strength

Improved communications, clarity on product ranges, and a centralised contact for all orders are just some of the benefits seen by Central Window Systems’ customers since the company merged its aluminium and PVCu divisions.

In February, Central RPL and Central ASL, suppliers of high-quality PVCu and aluminium windows and doors, merged to trade under one name, and since then, the company has been going from strength to strength, with many of their long-standing customers already seeing the benefits.

“Before the merge, it could be confusing trying to get hold of someone from either Central RPL or Central ASL, but now that they’ve centralised, it’s much easier to find the relevant person – there’s one central contact for all orders, and we’re already experiencing much faster customer service,” comments Glen Darby from Greener Glazing.

The merge has also given more clarity to many customers as to exactly what products the company has to offer.

“We’ve been using Central RPL for many years for all our PVCu needs, and had no idea the company had an aluminium manufacturing division as well,” comments Dave Roberts from Lifestyle Windows.

“It’s good to know that should the need arise, we know exactly where to source aluminium products from in the future, as we’ll be getting the same excellent customer service we’ve been accustomed to.”

Based in West Bromwich, Central RPL was formed in 1982, and is now one of the Midlands’ largest fabricators of PVCu products, fabricating windows, doors and conservatories from the Optima Range by Profile 22 from their 40,000 square foot manufacturing facility.

In 2017, the company expanded into the aluminium market by launching Central ASL, which now provides high-quality aluminium windows, doors, and flat roof systems. The company also recently launched their Aluminium Project Support Service, designed to guide installers through complex commercial projects.

Now, as both businesses have gone from strength to strength, CEO Gary Morton has been gearing up for the next phase of growth.

“The rebrand of Central RPL and Central ASL to Central Window Systems has been on the cards for quite some time. Following the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, the glazing industry is enjoying a welcome boom in demand, and we felt this was the perfect time for a much-needed refresh,” Gary says.

“Merging the two has already been very well received by our customers who can all now enjoy the best of what both sides have to offer.

“We are very excited about this new chapter in the business, and we want to assure all our valued customers that now that the two branches have merged, they will still be able to access the same great products and services as before – from both our PVCu and aluminium lines.”
