Market-leading bi-fold adds to Dekko’s luxury aluminium suite

Leading trade fabricator Dekko Window Systems has added the Decalu88 bi-fold door to its Räum range of luxury aluminium products, ensuring customers have access to the latest market-leading offerings.

The Decalu88 bi-fold is a contemporary 88mm thermally efficient system that delivers industry-leading u-values of as low as 1.4W/m2k when double-glazed and 0.68W/m2k when triple-glazed, making it both Part L and Future Homes ready for 2025.

It also uses a co-extruded, pre-inserted gasket designed to significantly reduce the amount of glazing time required per unit, and dramatically speed up installation as a result, saving installers up to two hours on site.

These gaskets are also backed with rigid PVCu, helping reduce shrinkage.

The Decalu88 features minimal sightlines for a premium aesthetic, and with each sash able to accommodate weights of 200kg and up to 3m in height, the bi-fold also offers impressive design flexibility, while guaranteeing ultra-smooth running.

Last year, Dekko opened a new 25,000 square foot factory dedicated to the production of Räum, significantly increasing manufacturing capacity of the range.

Decalu88 joins Räum’s aluminium patio doors, windows and entrance doors, all of which offer sleek sightlines and first-class thermal performance.

Dekko Sales Director Kurt Greatrex comments: “When we first launched our Räum range back in 2015, it was designed specifically for the luxury end of the market, thanks to superior quality, outstanding performance, and a sleek and contemporary appearance.

“The Decalu88 bi-fold door is the perfect addition to the range, offering low-u-values, slim sightlines and a contemporary premium aesthetic.

“Add to that its superb thermal efficiency and a pre-inserted gasket which will save installers a significant amount of time, and you’ve got the ideal aluminium product, something which we at Dekko are very proud to have amongst our other Räum offerings.”
