Investment in new machining centre to increase SupaLite success

Renowned tile roof manufacturer SupaLite has invested around £300,000 in a new Haffner machining centre at its headquarters in Preston.

Having hit the ground running since lockdown was relaxed, the new machining centre will enable SupaLite to scale up its complete roof manufacturing and build on its continued success.

As manufacturers behind the high-performance SupaLite Tiled Roof System and revolutionary Sky Vista glass system, demand has been increasing thanks an increasing desire from homeowners for conservatories and orangeries.

Steve Hacking, Managing Director of SupaLite, commented: “This major investment will take SupaLite to the next level in our manufacturing growth plan. More and more customers are wanting to access complete roofs so our new Haffner machining centre will help us meet that rising demand.

“In less than a decade, SupaLite has grown into the UK’s leading replacement roof solution, trusted by fabricators and installers and recognised by consumers.

“To achieve this, we regularly invest in our production capabilities, and this latest investment enables us to further demonstrate our commitment to staying ahead of the competition and adds to our already impressive manufacturing facility.”

SupaLite tiled roofs have found favour with trade customers and homeowners by providing a lightweight, easy-to-install solution, designed to eliminate the extreme changes in temperature seen within conservatories and orangeries.

Fully accredited by JHAI for Building Regulations approval, a SupaLite system offers unrivalled thermal efficiency, creating a space that’s useable all-year-round.
