Framexpress earns BM Trada Q Mark certifications for fire door installation and maintenance

Framexpress, one of the UK’s leading trade fabricators, has earned two new BM Trada Q Mark accreditations, helping to further bolster its FIRE DOORS BY FRAMEXPRESS range of third-party certified fire doors.

In addition to the existing BM Trada Q Mark for Fire Door manufacturing, the Telford-based fabricator has also earned the BM Trada Q Mark for Fire Door Installation and Fire Door Maintenance – showcasing the company’s commitment to following the entire Golden Thread seamlessly, from design and testing to installation and maintenance.

The BM Trada Q Mark Fire Door Installation Scheme has been designed to provide reassurance to end users that the product they have chosen has been installed correctly. The addition of the BM Trada Q Mark for Fire Door Maintenance ensures fire doors are being maintained correctly in accordance with the appropriate guidelines.

The esteemed certifications are another example of Framexpress’ due diligence in ensuring the highest standards in fire door design, testing, installation, and maintenance are met, providing end users with compliant fire safety products that keep occupants and buildings safe.

Jonny Green, Principal Product Manager at Framexpress, talked about the company’s achievement, saying: “We have been working hard behind the scenes to get our FIRE DOORS BY FRAMEXPRESS certified to meet the entire Golden Thread spectrum. These new accreditations only affirm our commitment to quality and excellence, helping us offer a high-quality fire solution that gives installers, contractors, passive fire companies, architects, developers and those alike the confidence in the fire doors they have chosen.

“With these new certifications, we are excited to be offering a full spectrum of support, ensuring the utmost safety and protection for occupants and buildings.”

Following the launch of its FIRE DOORS BY FRAMEXPRESS range back in 2023, Framexpress has expanded its production facility by 15,000 ft², solely dedicated to its fire door production.
