Fentrade highlights the demand for retail aluminium

Aluminium trade fabricator Fentrade has reported a continued growth in demand for its retail aluminium products. Chris Reeks, Director of Fentrade Aluminium, said: “Commercial aluminium products continue to be strong sellers. But where we’ve noticed the difference in demand is from our installers who work in the domestic market. I see it as part of the homeowner trend to higher value products.”

For the domestic market, Fentrade offers a range of AluK aluminium windows that help installers meet demand. The high-quality window range includes two sash options and a heritage option too. The windows also feature Roto twin-cam locking systems for complete peace of mind and homeowner security. U-values are as low as 1.4 W/m²K for double glazed frames and a U-value of 1.2 W/m²K for triple glazed frames is achievable when using units with a centre pane value of 1.0 W/m²K. All windows are available in a wide range of single, dual and anodised colour finishes to suit all applications.

As well as the wide product range, Fentrade also has the capacity to provide the service levels installers need. The fabricator has just doubled capacity to keep pace with growing demand and has also invested in Window Designer Cloud Pro from First Degree Systems to give it cutting-edge manufacturing and sales functionality.

Fentrade is based in Newport, Wales, and works with trade and retail customers throughout Wales and the West and along the M4, M5 and M6 corridors. It partners with renowned industry brands such as AluK and VBH Greenteq and manufactures a full range of aluminium windows, doors, bifolds, inline sliders, GFT commercial screens, shopfronts and curtain walling products. The company is a member of the Council for Aluminium in Building.

Chris concludes: “As a specialist trade aluminium fabricator with a wide product range, 30 years’ fenestration experience and a commitment to customer service and quality, we are a reliable partner for anyone looking to tap into the domestic growth.”
