Exlabesa makes excellent debut at FIT

Exlabesa Architecture UK exhibited at the FIT Show for the very first time – and as debuts go, it was extremely impressive.

From its exciting stand, which used its aluminium profile to striking effect, to its innovative products on display, it was a successful three days for Exlabesa – one of Europe’s leading aluminium systems companies.

Patrick Burke, National Sales Director of Exlabesa Architecture UK, said: “As it was the first FIT Show for three years, we thought it provided us with the perfect platform to show the industry here in the UK what we can do.

“Although very much known as a global business, we have a big presence in the UK, and this was an opportunity we couldn’t miss. It was great to meet so many visitors to our stand and interact with them face-to-face.”

At FIT, the company was able to showcase an array of its latest high-performance products, including its KC75 flush sash and its dual or triple-track Xlaslide aluminium sliding door, which features mechanical corner joints for ease of fabrication, a slim interlock detail of only 32mm and a beaded system that allows the glass to be installed onsite.

Visitors got a glimpse of the new Xlafold bi-folding door, an outstanding product designed to consist entirely of straight, elegant lines, in both sash and frame profiles.

They were also able to view a presentation on Exlabesa’s Glass Rail balustrade system, which can be fully integrated into the building envelope. Glass Rail has four options for fixing to the base support, and can be fixed to the floor framing either internally or on one of the profile flanks.

All four offerings demonstrate Exlabesa’s ability to produce outstanding aluminium fenestration products – and both went down an absolute storm.

Finally, in addition to all the new innovations present on the stand, Exlabesa also proudly showcased some of its exceptional existing products, like the KLS lift-and-slide system, a French style double door, the KC51 and KT-51 casement windows, and the KS-59 heritage style window.

“All four of our new products really caught the eye at FIT and, along with the fact that the stand position really helped catch visitors as they came in, it was the perfect combination,” added Patrick.

“But for us the three days were all about compliance, and demonstrating that we and our products are ready for June 15. We are fully compliant with Part L of the building regulations, and this was a good opportunity to not only showcase our products but to also show fabricators we are compliant. Visitors were very impressed.”
