Everest fit Yale 3-star Platinum cylinder as standard

Yale has announced that its long-standing partner, Everest, is now fitting the Platinum 3-star cylinder on all its doors as standard.

When it comes to home security, doors continue to be the leading target for potential break-ins. Statistics from ONS revealed that 76% of household burglaries in England and Wales occurred when the culprit accessed the home through a door.1

With cylinder attacks continuing to be a popular tactic used by criminals, Everest recognises the need for high-performance profile cylinders that protect UK homeowners by meeting the TS007 3-star standard.

Anthony Threlfall, Head of Marketing at Everest comments: “Homeowners are more security conscious than ever before. They expect high security as standard and that’s why we’ve chosen to fit Yale’s TS007 accredited 3-star kitemarked anti-snap cylinder across all of our doors.

“Before deciding on Yale’s Platinum 3-star cylinder we benchmarked the market in an evaluation and independent test program and Yale came out on top.”

The Yale Platinum 3 Star has been designed, developed, and tested to Yale’s exacting standards to deliver high-performance security. Available in chrome or brass and dual colour finishes, it has been approved to TS007:2014 and SS312 Diamond Standard and is endorsed by the Police preferred Secured by Design scheme

Paul Atkinson, Managing Director at Yale, comments: “Everest is a longstanding and valued Yale customer. We are thrilled that they’ve chosen to fit the Platinum 3 Star Cylinder as standard, recognising the protection it offers against even the most determined intruders.”
