Specialist aluminium fabricator CDW Systems has added Smart’s AluSpace to its product range.
The Gloucester-based CDW, part of the East Manor Group, is offering the internal screening system to customers as an alternative to its Alitherm Heritage windows and doors.
Developed to create light and airy internal environments, AluSpace’s sleek and elegant lines perfectly complement CDW Systems window and door ranges. It can be used to elegantly divide or partition both residential and commercial spaces of any shape and size, providing an effective acoustic barrier at the same time.

It’s a simplified version of Smart’s Heritage range so is normally single glazed, is not thermally broken and it is available in a single colour. A double glazed unit can also be incorporated if required for enhanced acoustic performance.
“It is designed for things like room dividers and is an industrial looking door that is great for old industrial buildings that are being converted into apartments, with the AluSpace allowing them to keep that industrial aesthetic.”
The versatile system has a choice of hinged single and double doors, as well as pivot and sliding options to accompany the fixed glazed screen and has been designed for easy installation, delivering not only outstanding aesthetics, but also great value. There is also a wide range of options and accessories, including a choice of classic, modern and industrial handles and requires minimal maintenance.
