Leading independent window and door hardware distributor Carl F Groupco has expanded its team of Regional Sales Managers. Matt Smith has been recruited to serve the company’s North West region of fabricator partners.
Bringing over 18 years industry experience including window and door fabrication, production and purchasing management, Matt has a multitude of skills that will enable him to best advise Carl F Groupco’s customers. Having sourced hardware for a large fabricator in his previous role and undertaking a QCF Level 3 in Supply Chain Operations, Matt understands the challenges faced by customers and what drives them in their purchasing decisions.
Commenting on his new role, Matt said:
“I’ve been a customer of Carl F Groupco for many years, so I knew I was moving to a company that prioritised product quality and leading brands but most of all outstanding customer service and technical support. Having worked in fabrication, I understand the challenges our customers face and what they need… ease of fabrication and installation, price, product quality and the support required when it’s time to make a change.
“I’m looking forward to working with my customers, supporting them with their purchasing and technical requirements and developing the region.”

Matt joins a team of five Regional Sales Managers who serve the UK and Ireland, headed by Sales Director John King. The external team work alongside internal sales and customer service counterparts to guarantee smooth account management and hardware supply.
