Caribbean Blinds selected for new showcase feature at Grand Designs Live 2024

External shading specialists, Caribbean Blinds, were proud to be a part of the first-ever Grand House, a unique property built by Grand Designs Live for the prestigious London exhibition of the same name.

The Grand House was a brand new showcase for this year’s event which took place at the beginning of May in London’s ExCel. Designed to educate and inspire visitors with a variety of stunning and innovative brands, the team at Grand Designs believed Caribbean Blinds would be a fantastic fit for this custom built showhouse.

As a result, the Suffolk-based company’s Classic Lite Pod was a key feature set within the garden of the Grand House, creating an incredible opportunity for attendees to further explore the superior design, quality and benefits of the budget-friendly aluminium pergola.

Manufactured within just 10 days, the Classic Lite Pod makes a fantastic addition to any outdoor space and visitors at Grand Designs Live 2024 were lucky enough to discover this firsthand. With its waterproof opening louvered roof that can be effortlessly adjusted, users can find the perfect amount of sun, shade or shelter. Plus, with a range of unique add-ons including windproof side screens, infra-red heating and integrated LED lighting homeowners will be well protected against the elements so they can relax and enjoy their outdoor experience.

With a real passion for providing premium external shading systems, the team at Caribbean Blinds prioritise every detail of their products and work tirelessly to guarantee they look fantastic, last a lifetime and are incredibly easy to install.

Reflecting on the success of the event Stuart Dantzic, MD of Caribbean Blinds, said: “It was fantastic to be asked by the Grand Designs team to showcase our highly sought after most popular louvered pergola in the incredible Grand House garden space.

“We first attended Grand Designs 12 years ago, when we launched the first louvered pergola to the UK market, so it was incredible to be invited back and to be part of such an iconic moment in the exhibition’s history.

“Outdoor living trends across the UK show no signs of slowing down so it made perfect sense to showcase our budget friendly louvered pergola. The Classic Lite Pod is an innovative solution for customers looking to create the perfect indoor-outdoor experience in their own garden.

“We always look forward to attending exhibitions like Grand Designs as it creates the perfect chance for us to speak to our prospective customers face-to-face. There’s nothing better than discussing the product in detail, showcasing its features and benefits, and answering any questions in real time, and that’s why we have agreed to be part of the Grand House garden at the Birmingham show later this year.”

If you missed Caribbean Blinds at London Grand Designs, there’s still an opportunity to meet the team and find out more about their range of louvered roof pergolas, as they will be a part of the Grand House in Birmingham between 2-6 October 2024. Installed in a range of settings, louvered roof pergolas are designed for every application and budget.
