Andy Jones Joins Apeer and Associated Brands as UK Mainland Sales and Marketing Director

Long serving and respected glass and glazing industry veteran Andy Jones has joined New World Developments Ltd, the Northern Ireland-based company behind market leading brands Apeer; Lumi and SILKA the all new, high performing aluminium window and door system.

The senior appointment, says New World Developments managing director Asa McGillian, has been made to develop the company’s sales and marketing operations in England and Wales in line with its growth strategy for the next five years: “We have added several exciting options to our Apeer door ranges to offer the UK’s largest range of composite residential doors including a 70mm A++ door. We have a door for every aperture at every price level, a true one stop door shop. We are also launching a full range of SILKA innovative aluminium window and door products and have several other ambitious plans that will come to fruition during the next 12 months.

“So, we need to know that our retail installer network is supported sufficiently for them to drive sales to achieve their true potential, as well as ensuring that that network is sufficiently comprehensive, high performing and motivated to provide the best returns for our substantial investment in product. We have known and worked with Andy for nearly two decades and his experience is just what we need for this task,” explained Asa.

Andy, who has enjoyed senior positions with some of the UK’s leading glass and glazing brands, says that he is delighted to have the opportunity to join Asa and the existing team: “The products produced under these brands are some of the best available in the market and there is a huge opportunity for driving sales beyond their current levels, especially with the level of marketing support the company provides for its retailers. This is one of the most impressive door and window manufacturing operations in the UK industry and there is huge potential for growth. This is very exciting,” added Andy.
