15 years of quality leads and unrivalled service from Leads 2 Trade

Leads 2 Trade, the UK’s leading provider of double-qualified sales leads to installers operating in the home improvement sector is celebrating its 15-year anniversary.

The Stockport-based company, which also operates in several other sectors, including heating and plumbing, renewable energy, and security, heads into 2021 with its sights firmly on continuing to support its members through continuing testing times.

For Andy Royle, co-founder and Managing Director, the milestone is significant as the company’s longevity is what has left them well placed to supply the very best leads.

“The last 12 months have challenged us all in ways we never anticipated but we’ve never lost sight of our commitment to supporting our members with the leads they need to continue to grow their business,” said Andy.

“Reaching our 15-year trading anniversary is testament to our dedication to continue trading and supporting our members through what has been and what still are challenging times. The Leads 2 Trade brand has been synonymous with quality leads since 2006 and that will always be the case.”

Continuous investment

Constant investment has been the key to keeping Leads 2 Trade at the top.

With its acquisitions of Compare Companies in 2013 and CloudGlaze in 2018 – which included market leading online brands, ‘Double Glazing on the Web’ and ‘Conservatory Online Prices’ – to compliment the creation of its other consumer facing brand Trusted Local Suppliers, its comparison quote websites help to generate more than 2000 enquiries per week.

The company has also introduced several exciting developments for members over the years, including premium lead delivery methods such as pre-qualified hotkey telephone leads and a revolutionary appointment booking service, a lead vault, and premium ‘no pitch no fee’ leads.

“To keep providing our members with the lead quality they expect, we have had to constantly develop our lead generation process,” explained Andy.

“We have always prided ourselves on our ability to adapt to our member’s needs in terms of not only offering what they want from a lead but also how they want that lead delivered, while keeping the comparison service the consumer wants.

“And that’s never been more important than in the last 12 months, with lockdown regulations changing the landscape constantly.  We can still provide regional companies and smaller installers with all the leads they need during this challenging period.”

The numbers don’t lie

The numbers tell the story of how prolific Leads 2 Trade has been during the last 15 years. They include:

  • Over 5,000 home improvement companies that have registered to its lead provision and appointment booking services.
  • 1.8M enquiries received from its websites
  • 670,000 double qualified leads supplied to members
  • £300M of business wrote from those leads by its members

Rob Brown, Leads 2 Trade’s new National Sales Manager, said: “The numbers over the last 15 years speak for themselves, and with demand for home improvements high due to the focus falling on our homes during lockdown we are generating a huge number of enquiries a week from homeowners looking for windows, doors, conservatories, and conservatory roof replacements.

“Now is a fantastic time for installers of any size to join our network of installers and benefit from those leads.”

Supporting our members

Leads 2 Trade’s experienced in-house customer service team is essential to its success, ensuring that leads are phone qualified to guarantee the consumer has a genuine interest and requirement and is wanting a quotation, saving installers time and money.

They also enable the lead to be supplied with full accompanying notes including material-type, colour preference and number of items, with an agreed confirmed appointment or a preferred time of day for the installer to contact the homeowner so they are expecting the call.

And the team have not stopped working during the last 12 months to make sure they continue to provide the best service they can for members.

“We have adapted since COVID-19, investing in our IT and telecoms coming out of lockdown 1, so that all staff can now work remotely, whether in sales, accounts or our call centre, and all reporting and monitoring of productivity can be carried out remotely, with regular weekly department meetings still taking place,” added Andy.

“Our sales teams have worked with suppliers and moved a lot of them on to our premium leads no pitch no fee and demonstrated the benefit of this and worked with them to assist with their adaptation to remote quoting for certain products during these challenging times.”

It all leaves Leads 2 Trade with everything in place to continue to assist its members for the next 12 months – and beyond.

Leads 2 Trade is offering installers that sign up to its network two free double qualified sales leads when they open a new account.
