With a current lack of a trade event for the glazing industry, this years’ Fensterbau was more important than ever for UK visitors and Profine Group and it’s Kömmerling and KBE brands, led the way with over 4,000 visitors to the stand.
As Kömmerling and KBE continue to expand in the UK market through new customers and innovative product developments, the German trade event proved to be a perfect platform in which to meet both existing and new customers from the UK and to introduce them to some of the new developments. Energy efficiency is a global issue and Profine Group have led the way in Europe for several years. In the UK, the C70 and O70 Gold 5 chambered systems have set a benchmark in terms of quality and the ability to harness more.
On display were a number of innovative products including the Lift and Slide door which is capable of accommodating sashes of 2.5m high x 3.0 metres wide and is a true alternative to the bi-folding door, as a number of UK fabricators are already experiencing. The double award winning PremiVent, which incorporates heat recovery, was also on show and a clear indication of what lies ahead both in the UK and in other European markets.
Profine Group have now committed over 10million Euros for the further development of tomorrow’s energy efficient window and door systems. Regulations will change across Europe in just a few years and the German extrusion giant will look to lead the way.
Robert Thiroff, managing director of Profine UK commented: “It was great to see existing customers and a number of new potential ones at Fensterbau. With the largest stand in the sector, we were able to demonstrate a big commitment to the future of the industry in the UK and right across Europe. We believe that investment is the key to future success and what better way to announce it than at Europe’s largest trade show.”
