Following air leakage tests and simulations carried out by Build Check, a recognised Independent Testing and Certification body accredited by UKAS and BFRC, Distinction Doors is the first to announce that a door-set featuring their Nan Ya door blank and glazing cassette, hung in a standard PVC-U outer-frame and fitted with an aluminium low threshold, has achieved an ‘A’ rating in a BFRC simulation report.

Synseal has taken delivery of a new piece of machinery from Stuga that will help to increase production of its vertical sliders while maintaining the outstanding quality that its customers have come to expect.  The AutoFlow 2 is the latest Stuga sawing and machining centre to be built by Stuga in Great Yarmouth. Its footprint measures just 13.5 m x 2.3 m and can prepare profile for more than 400 VS windows per week.

This will support the continued trend towards coloured conservatories.  The historical growth in the conservatory market was largely down to white standardised conservatories with only golden oak and mahoganywoodgrain finishes generally available..

Nationwide Windows of Rugby have purchased two Stuga ZX3 sawing & machining centres. Both machines
are rebuilds from old Stuga Flowlines that were around ten years old but that have been rebuilt to a very high
