Solidor, one of the UK’s fastest growing composite door manufacturers, became the first company to sign up for the FIT Show 2013, the glazing industry’s new premier exhibition which will be held at the Telford International Centre, April 16-18th 2013.  FIT Events Ltd is a completely newly formed limited company, headed up by Matthew Glover, the man responsible for developing Conservatory Outlet. The concept was to develop a show fit for the industry and that was run by people who had direct experience of the glazing industry.

“SYMPATHETIC AND STRIKING” PROJECT FROM VULCAN

A Sea Cadets' building in Hull got a new lease of life recently, thanks in part to the sympathetic window replacement carried out by Hull-based Synseal fabricator and installer, Vulcan Windows.  The period property presented a number of challenges to the company, not least the building's general state of disrepair. "The Sea Cadets project was quite a challenge because the building was dilapidated and in poor condition," Peter O’Brien, Vulcan’s Commercial Manager, said. "Most of the fenestrations were boarded up and there was evidence of  subsidence."
