The Court of Appeal met at 9.30 this morning to decide the fate of the UK solar industry, gathering to make a decision on whether to grant the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) a hearing for its appeal against the High Court’s December ruling on UK solar feed-in tariffs.

When trade supplier Sash UK’s order processor of 7 years, 24 year old Dane Roystone, opted for a new look for the winter season it wasn’t in vain. Charlie Clarke, the 5 year old son of Dane’s cousin, was recently diagnosed with Leukaemia so Dane and his family decided to shave their heads to help raise money for the cause.

For many years PVCu has been top of the pile when it comes to materials choice for replacement windows and doors. Over the last couple of years, aluminium seems to have made a significant and sustained comeback. Success for aluminium has been found in high-end bi-folding doors and coloured frames.
