Great Dane’s Close Shave

When trade supplier Sash UK’s order processor of 7 years, 24 year old Dane Roystone, opted for a new look for the winter season it wasn’t in vain. Charlie Clarke, the 5 year old son of Dane’s cousin, was recently diagnosed with Leukaemia so Dane and his family decided to shave their heads to help raise money for the cause.

But thanks to the recession and the inherent need for businesses to diversify and find niche areas of the market to squeeze extra money out of.   Over the last couple of years, aluminium seems to have made a significant and sustained comeback. Success for aluminium has been found in high-end bi-folding doors and coloured frames. Network VEKA chosen for Government’s Green Deal list

Network VEKA is one of 33 national organisations to be chosen for assessment under the Green Deal initiative.  The announcement comes from UKAS, which will now assess all the bodies on behalf of the Department of Energy and Climate Change before the launch of the Government initiative later in 2012.
