The Eurocell Eurologik 70 Casement window profile system has become one of the first in the UK to be officially awarded the BFRC’s new A+ Window Energy Rating (WER). Only windows that achieve an Energy Index of 10 or greater can achieve the new ‘best of the best’ A+ band.

After a day meeting new acquaintances and catching up with old ones, Conservatory Outlet’s guests attended a formal dinner on Saturday 14th September during which Greg Kane laid out his short, medium and long term plans for the Network which include one or two very imminent additions, before a period of consolidation and then a concerted push towards nationwide coverage. The same night also saw each Conservatory Outlet Dealer presented with an engraved showroom plaque to recognise the close fabricator-installer partnership.

In 1840 Daniel Gooch, the newly-appointed 21 year old locomotive superintendent of the Great Western Railway wrote to Isambard Kingdom Brunel recommending Swindon as the location for a much needed engine works. In his letter he recommended that the then tiny hilltop town was the perfect location with “the great advantage of being on the side of a canal communicating with the whole of England, and by which we could get coal and coke”.

Four members of the Cornwall Glass Group came together to smash through the gruelling 12 mile obstacle course, Tough Mudder in Wales this weekend. Team members, Ryan Witham, Matthew Prowse, Roisin Grogan and Emily Gunning completed the course in 3 hours, where sheer team work, support and determination gave the team the strength to complete the course. The team appropriately named themselves Chough Mudder after the Cornwall Glass toughened glass logo Chough Tough.
